Curb Your Enthusiasm - "Kamikaze Bingo" - 10/16/05
Thought this episode wasn't as good as others this season. Just much more predictible than normal with the whole kamikaze thing at the end and not as many laughs. But, Larry's dad watching the porno at full volume was pretty good.

Usually I can't really tell for sure until I watch an episode a few times. But this one just seemed to drag on compared to the other episodes with Larry having a racist dog, Larry bra shopping, the Christ Nail, Larry's sandwich. All of those episodes were very funny to me from the first viewing. Oh well, we'll see if this one grows on me.

after my first viewing, I thought it moved slowly. Or I wasn't digging the Bingo story. The second and third viewing though... Oh man, I just loved the episode completely.

I thought it was okay. Some of the individual jokes were good, but overall the episode seemed very disjointed and didn't flow. Plus, the ending didn't make much sense.

It felt like Larry was trying too hard to piss off Yoshi (I think that was his name) in the sushi place when talking about his grandpa. Like he was doing it on purpose. Which may be the case but I thought this whole show was about how Larry pisses people off unintentionally.

Yeah, that's the problem: it used to be that Larry did things that were seemingly innocent enough, but it backfired. Now, he does things that are down-right rude and socially unacceptable. It's hard to watch.
That being said, the bonzai moment at the end was the funniest CYE bit since season 3.

Good episode, but a bit uneven.
The ending was classic where Yoshi's dad goes after Larry.
I did like when they were playing cards, when Kevin Nealon left, they just kept playing! "We have to wait for the Pizza!" "We can't leave, we don't know the alarm code!" Kevin Nealon replies, "We don't have a f***ken alarm!"
I think Cheryl seems out of place this year. They really haven't given her anything to do this year, other than complain to Larry. Now true that is most of her job on the show, but give her a little more do than just sigh at everything Larry says.
Though this season has had 2 good shows, and 2 average shows this year, it is still the best comedy on TV.

It was hit & miss, but there was one part I loved. As a doctor, I've had pharmacists undermine my prescriptions and it drives me nuts every time. Glad to see Larry David make fun of that. "Doctor......Pharmacist"

I thought for sure that Larry would have ripped on the pharmacist and been very rude saying something like, "what do you know pal, you're not a doctor," and then not be able to get the drugs from him like when cheryl needed the itch cream. It was still pretty funny this way.
