Waynes World SE's Ever?

I have always been a fan of the Waynes World movies and have the current dvds but i was wondering if anyone has ever heard anything about Special Editions. Theres some special features on the current discs but it could be much better.

I was wondering the same thing. I'd imagine they're waiting for a reason to rerelease them. Maybe if Mike Myers doesn't release a movie for awhile then well finally see a proper SE of these movies, though the older releases do have commentaries & a few interviews.

A commentary and a retrospective documentary(albeit a brief one) ain't too shabby. Aside from deleted scenes or a cast commentary, I can't imagine what else you'd want.

I'd love to see a 3rd film, that would be reason enough to redo the current releases.

I hope not. I've already bought the first releases.

There's nothing wrong with the dvds that are out now.

Wouldn't we all rather have a commentary with Mike and Dana instead of just with the director??? Is a bad relationship between the two of them the reason why they haven't done one together?

I wouldn't, really. The director's commentary is pretty good, actually.

I would have to think that a Wayne's World 3 would make some massive money. I suppose part of the problem is, Myers has the Shrek franchise which makes more money than most anything around to keep cranking out? And if that falls through, fall back on a 4th installment of Austin Powers?

Paramount has begun their DVD Special Edition re-releases (i.e. the upcoming Airplane! & Ferris Bueller releases despite the previous releases having commentaries and such) so a Wayne's World SE is inevitable.
