Joey "Joey and the House" 10-13-05

Spoiler:
With his big paycheck from his new movie, Joey (Matt LeBlanc) goes on a buying spree -- much to the chagrin of his sister, Gina (Drea de Matteo). When he finds a house he loves, he must convince the owner (multiple Emmy Award-winning guest star Betty White, "Golden Girls") that he is the right person to own the home but she's looking for a family man with children -- and Joey and Gina attempt to give her what she's looking for.

Here should be the "big change" episode I was reading about.

I thought this was one was pretty funny for the most part. The bit with the anger management therapist was like slow death though. I hate the Bobby character so much.

Heimlich the animatronic baby had me rolling. "Oh, did I pick a weird name for the robot baby I had with my sister?"

In agreement with all you said. I absolutely do not like Bobby.

Joey and Gina's kiss. Too funny.

Missed Howard though.

I had to stop the Tivo when Heimlich went beserk, I was laughing so hard. Turned into a coughing fit

I also liked Alex, Jack and the falafel.

I loved the weird name line as well.

I thought that it was a great episode, but I would have liked to see Howard as well.

Well, I wonder how Howard and Alex are going to be on the show now? It doesn't have the same feel to it where people can just walk in and out like an apartment.

Now I'm on the other side of the fence. I think Bobby is the funniest thing on the show.

This was indeed a funny episode. Drunk Alex was histerical, as was the robot baby. The porno house was pretty good too.

"I can fit 16 small-breasted women in that hot tub!"

Joey: "I never knew throwing money in the toilet could be that much fun."

Gina: "What?"

Michael: "Yeah, he was throwing actual money in the toilet."

Seriously dude, you need to get a life.

Overall a funnier show this week! Betty White is always a welcome addition. Still going stron at 83, God bless her!

I'll also give a HUGE to the flushing money joke.

I liked this episode.

A plasma for the boring part of the stairs. The naming the robot baby line. Drunk Alex (Was she really wearing shorts?). Angry Alex. The line about knowing the house. Flushing money joke.
Didn't really care for Bobby in this episode.
I still think this show is at least worthy of taping on my vhs.

Pretty darn good ep. I usually like Bobbie, but her storyline was grating on me this week.

Loved drunk Alex, especially when Joey tried to take her falafel

"Back off or I'll cut you!"

The whole house thing was pretty funny. Heimlich, the Joey/Gina kiss. I also liked the running joke of everyone knowing where the bathroom was.

I loved how Joey was watching the A-Team and Sanford and Son on his landing.

You know Joey is in trouble when Will & Grace is pulling in larger ratings than Joey.

...but Joey is looking like a ratings blockbuster compared with Arrested Development. How the hell is AD coming in FIFTH, behind the WB's Seventh Heaven.

Re: AD's ratings

Smart comedies don't appeal to masses.

She's got a pretty tight bod, and isn't afraid of looking "messy", a good combination for an actress working in comedy.

Can someone explain why Betty White owned a "porno" house?
