And the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film goes to....vote now

Well, I have been pondering this one for a while, and after it was mentioned in another thread I thought I would take a vote. Who do you think will wil the best animated feature film Oscar for 2005. Lots to factor in on this desicion. The Academy has never given this award to a stop motion animation, and this year has two prominent titles (considered favorites). They also have never given an award to the traditional hand drawn toons, Spirited Away was hand drawn, but far from traditional. Wallace & Gromit already have two Oscars for short films, which could be a leg up or a leg down. Tim Burton is loved by Studios (even if he is considered a bit of an outsider)

Not all of these films will be nominated, and someone can please explain all of that. Take the time to vote, explain, argue, and so on. I listed all the title I could thank of, and left a other for write in votes. (there has to be some anime I missed.)

past winners

Incredibles-2004
Finding Nemo-2003
Spirited Away- 2002
Shrek-2001

"Strings" won't win (possibly can't, I'm not certain of the stipulations about a film's release in order to be nominated), but it should.

I like to see a non-CGI film win it this year. I vote for Corpse Bride, but to be fair, no one has seen Chicken Little.

So far I've only seen Corpse Bride. I thought it was ok. I will hopefully see W&G soon.

From what I read, I think "Chicken Little" will run away with it.

Chicken Little isn't released yet, but I have a feeling it will be the favorite and win.

I have, twice now. It's fairly good for childern and Zach does bring a lot to the table in the character. But I'm hoping for Corpse simply because non-cgi animation needs some loving and the fluid movement in Corpse Bride was just beyond amazing.

Was HOwl's Moving Castle done by Miyazaki. I thought that was the one he came out with a few months ago. I haven't seen that or Wallace or Grommit yet(or Chicken Little). Want i've heard from W&G, it definitly has a chance, yet Miyazaki's films are usually beautifully done. Didn't he win with Spirited Away a few years ago.
From those i've seen I'd go with Corpse Bride, since the others was really nothing special IMHO.

Of the three I've seen, Robots, How's Moving Castle, and Corpse Bride, I would choose Tim Burton's film. But I still want to see Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Little.

You did read in the OP that Spirited Away won in 2002?

Spirited Away (2001)
Monsters, Inc. (2001)

...I'm confused, and by the looks of it, so are you.
