Drastic Picture Quality Difference Between 'The Graduate' CC LD and MGM DVD ?
I remember years ago seeing the Criterion Laserdisc version of 'The Graduate' and then recently seeing the MGM DVD Version and noticed a drastic difference in the picture quality.
The DVD Picture had a dated looked to it and the Criterion LD looked immaculate and looked like a recent film.
Am I dreaming this? Its been a while since seeing the LD ...

No, you're not dreaming... it's been a while since I've taken that LD out to watch, but it *definitely* had better picture quality than the DVD. And the current Region 2 edition (from Momentum) makes the MGM DVD look like absolute crap.
