My Name Is Earl -- "Randy's Touchdown" -- 10.04.2005

Randy's Touchdown

Spoiler:
Earl tries to amend for an unethical sports wager on a high-school game that deprived his brother Randy of a chance to score a touchdown.

This sounds like very fertile ground for comedy. Thumbs up.

Gay copy guy! Garage sale voice box guy!

I'm digging the continuity here.

Is it just coincidence, or is it a Varsity Blues tribute that AC/DC's Thunderstruck played during the football scene?

Good news! NBC has picked up a full season order for the show.

Holy Shit that was the funniest episode so far. All the characters are gold so far. I want more Crab Man but I also want more Catalina, Randy, and Earl.

Jamie Pressly continues to impress.

I love a comedy that keeps paying off for the regular viewer. The Crab Man and Kenny stuff is great.

I wonder if we'll get to see Donny again.

I definitely think this was my favorite episode so far ... though I did have Remember the Titans flashbacks.

While it still gets a "eh" rating from me, this was by far the best episode. Some very touching moments, and some very funny moments.

Good stuff.

funny and touching. liked the statement at the end by randy, saying he knew what it felt like to score a touchdown after what he did for earl.

"I busted my rugburns!"

and i also like the continuity between episodes.

The rugburns line was great. I like comedies where not just the stars get the good jokes. I find myself anxious for each new episode. One question what happened to beer can tag.

I'd like to hope they're going to let that one settle to the point we kind of forget about it only to have it come into play bigtime.

Funniest episode yet. I was laughing as they showed Earl running full steam until stopping from exhaustion, and Catalina walks right up to him, showing that he didn't get more than a few feet from her. Obvious sight gag, but hilarious nonetheless.

"Where's my grandfather's cuckoo clock?"
"I pawned it. Cigarettes don't grow on trees, you know."
