Gone in 60 Seconds (1974) DVD Comparison?

Can anyone with both dvds comment on picture and sound quality? Also, are the extras on the new dvd good enough to warrant an upgrade?

well, got bad news for ya, its the same old non anamorphic transfer with the same shitty dd and dts 5.1 remix. Picked it up on tuesday hopeing for the best, and well, its not. Unless you care about a doc on the director, or the crash scenes' from his other movies, stay away from this verison if you already have the older one.

Well, that's disappointing. Do you think the special features are better on this new dvd or the old one because I don't have the previous release?
