Your TOP 5 Desert Island Discs!

What would you take along if you had to choose only FIVE? Here are mine:

1. Tiffany - The Color of Silence
2. Lindsay Lohan - Speak (Japanese Edition)
3. Linda Perhacs - Parallelograms
4. Aberfeldy - Young Forever
5. Vanessa Paradis - Bliss

Whats yours? ONLY FIVE!

I'll be on the opposite side of the island with these:

Del Amitri - Change Everything
Violent Femmes - Why Do Birds Sing?
Harry Connick, Jr. - Blue Light, Red Light
Information Society - Hack
Extreme - III Sides To Every Story

I'd find a sharp stick and stab myself if I was stuck on and island with you and your apparent music tastes ...but if I was alone....

Pearl Jam- Ten
Dave Matthews Band- Before These Crowded Streets
Modest Mouse- The Lonesome Crowded West
Radiohead- The Bends
Rage Against the Machine-self titled

Why does the island have to be a desert? If we're arbitrarily setting CD limits, then can't we also make it a tropical island with a cool breeze and maybe some coconuts?

And I don't know which 5 I'd pick. I'll get back to you.

I get your reasoning. Since you probably wouldn't have a CD player that worked after the batteries died, you could "use" the cover art when you got bored.
