God DAMN, what a fine episode.

Someone on a message forum about the Emmy awards was saying that Hugh Laurie wasn't robbed of the best actor award. They said that it's the fault of the writers, as House only shows "anger and distain" (their spelling).

How in the hell are these people missing the spectacular character development on this show?

Another fabulous episode. The procedure at the end was incredibly mezmorizing to me, and the ending choked me up a bit too.

I agree with the previous posts. This show does an incredible job of mixing drama and humor. I laughed for 5 minutes at the other doctors reactions to Chase kissing the little girl and I cried a bit at the end. Great episode.

he end was a bit much for any sane person. Glad to see House didn't put his arm around her. It was odd how quickly my feelings changed in the episode. I was kinda creeped out/disturbed when Chase kissed her, laughed when they didn't make a big deal of it, then got teary eyed in the last segment.

Quick question about one of the songs. I believe it was during the final operation. I think it was the second to last actual song.

Once again this show proves it's one of the best on TV.

I love how this show never cops out. Last week the women didn't get saved, and this week they didn't find a miracle for that little kid and have the cancer go away.

Yeah, that would've ruined the moment for me.

Damn good episode, I'm glad to see it just keeps getting better.

Yeah I was really impressed with this episode. The show just continues to get better. Easily the best medical drama on tv since the first few seasons of ER.

It was almost painful to watch, and would have been if not for the incredible job done by the writers and cast. Great episode.

That's it, Bones must be cancelled for putting House at risk! What a crappy lead in!
This was a very good episode, but I hope they have a lighter case next week. Yeesh! There were some great scenes with House and Wilson in this one.

Agreed. I tried to watch bones for aobut 20 minutes but had to turn it off. Ended up reading businessweek while I waited for House to start.

Yes, it is time to bury the Bones.

If I was FOX i would just air a repeat of House at 8:00 before the new house at 9:00.
Even if it was a House I had seen twice already, I'd probably watch it before a new ep of that god awful Bones.

Wilson was going to kill House I think...when this happened:

Wilson: Do you want to see her?
House: Yes, I want to see how 'brave' she is when told she is going to die

Yeah until they showed why House said this, I was thinking he was just an asshole. Glad to see he isn't, well, sorta.

Great episode.

The reaction shots to Chase's kiss was great

Favorite part: House's reaction to the "circumcised" penis.

One of the funniest reactions I've ever seen...

It's "In the Deep" by Bird York. I remembered it from the movie Crash.

YES! That's where I remembered it from. Thanks much. It's a pretty/sad song. Don't even remember any of the lyrics but just hearing it does things.

One of the best episodes of TV ever!

Had me laughing, in tears, the works!

Shows just how much Hugh Laurie was robbed at the Emmys!

Sorry, but this episode just didn't do it for me. Too overly sensitive and sweet. A lot of what House was saying about how people react to sick kids is how I feel about how people react to shows that feature sick kids.

Bring back the greatness of Three Stories! I could watch that episode every night.

Great episode.

And I'm still laughing at: "If her DNA was off by 1% she's be a dolphin."

But that's a pretty odd statement I thought certain primates had more than 1% difference in DNA, and they've gotta be a lot closer to us than dolphins.

It's funnier to say dolphin
