My tvguide.com listing and my comcast digital listings both show reairs of 7th Heaven and Just Legal, but Yahoo says GG and Supernatural. I'm confused as what I should do regarding recordings. Grr.

Another enjoyable episode tonight.
However, the competition in their timeslot is brutal and unfortunately don't see this show lasting very long. Hopefully, I'm wrong about this.

This is definitely X-files lite. None of the scares and the dialogue is just contrived as hell. Lines like, "you want the white meat now?" and "there aren't suppose to be monsters like this". "There are".
Oh Brother. And why the hell did their Dad put the corredanance in that book????

As long at they don't continue to use the "dad was just here, we missed him" plot device week-after-week, this will be a fun show.
It's the closest to an X-Files vibe I've gotten in quite a while.

I am enjoying it now, but it is nothing amazing. Hopefully it will be though.

As per zap2it.com:
"House," 8.4/12, moved FOX into the lead at 9 p.m., ahead of ABC's "Dance-off," 8.0/12. The debut of the critically hailed "Earl" drew a 9.3/14, beating FOX and ABC from 9 to 9:30; the season premiere of "The Office" scored a 5.8/9 to give NBC a 7.6/11 average for the hour. CBS dropped to fourth with the finale of "Big Brother 6," 5.5/8. The WB stayed in fifth with "Supernatural," which topped the finale of "R U the Girl" on UPN.

"Killing as many evil sons of bitches as I possibly can" Very groan-worthy. I don't think I like the Dean character as much. He's too ooerbearing/cocksure.
Other than that I liked this episode a lot. Even more than the first episode. They pronounced it differently than I whenever I'd read it, kinda bugged me.
I almost wish there would be a recurring female character, though I think it may take away from the connection of the brothers. I really like dthe girl this week, maybe they can go back and visit her or something. I guess as long as there is a hottie of the week I think I'll be satisfied.
And did anyone else think the wendigo looked like a too tall gollum?
