Dammit, what evil genius decided to put this up against "How I Met Your Mother" and pit Xander (Nicholas Brendon) against Willow (Alyison Hannigan)?

I actually enjoyed this one. I wasn't planning on watching it but had watched AD and just let it keep going. No laugh track =
Guess I'll add it to the season pass list for now.

Though I didn't care much for what happened with Jack at the end [or maybe I just like looking at Andrea], i'm in.

I would recommend the book. It's really absorbing.

Didn't care for it even though going in I wanted to. But I didn't care for the style, and most of the jokes were not nearly as clever as they thought they were. The rapid fire one-liner banter only works if some of it is funny. Instead, it felt forced and tedious. The characters were unsympathetic, no one I would ever actually want to be around. It just all came off smug to me, presented as a much smarter and funnier show than it actually was. I have enough on my TV plate to not need this. Happy viewing to those who enjoyed it.

I liked it. Slight complaint about the chemistry between the actors, but I think that will get better. the last part (with the note) was a bit hokey. but this was just the premiere/pilot, after all. but right now i'm a sucker for anything without a laugh track.
started a season pass, and i'm sure i'll watch all season.
