Jackass Volume One - December 6th

Paramount Home Entertainment has sent over artwork for Jackass: Volume One, which features more crazy action from the likes of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Dave England and Jason "Wee Man" Acuna. The set (with a total runtime of 122 minutes), will be available to own from the 6th December this year. I'm afraid we have no further details on this one at the moment, but we'll bring you further details shortly. For now though, here's the official region one package artwork:

Well they probably figured, Christmas time's coming and they have nothing else that stands a chance of making a buck...

There likely may never be a complete Jackass anything......
probably due to rights and lawsuit sort of stuff as they often did not bother to get people's permission to do a lot of the things that were on the show. Probably a similar situation with the CKY dvds that went out of print, were edited due to lawsuit reasons, and then re-released missing many scenes.

but there IS going to be a box set:

While Volume 1 sounds good, you don't want to buy it. Nope, you want the Jackass box set featuring Volume 1, 2 and 3, plus a special bonus DVD. "But Gord, I already own volumes 2 and 3!" I'm sure you do, but these are the new and improved volumes 2 and 3 which feature half an hour of added material, plus commentary from all the guys on volume 1! Plus you get the 4th disc which includes Cribs episodes featuring the Jackass guys, the "Gumball Rally" special, a montage of Jackass appearances and a "Where are they Now?" featurette (which we're told should run nearly an hour). You'll also get a 48 page book with information and pictures about the show. The set sells for $59.98, but Amazon.com is selling it for $41.99.

I'll just pick up Vol. 1 since it seems cheap enough.

Who knows what the new Vols 2 and 3 art looks like. It could be White, Red and Blue inside the black box.

Haha, they already are blue and red.

And I will be double-dipping on this, since it's 2 new discs plus my old ones are scratched.
