Oh my god. That was the stupidest, unfunniest, most offensive show I have seen since The Mullets. It was terrible on so many levels. When a show's first episode isn't very good, you tend to give it the benefit of the doubt and watch the second one. That won't be the case with this show. The first one was putrid and idiotic enough for me.

I sorta see the potential in the show and I can tell why, reading the script, someone might want to make it. But it should've been a one camera show like a Malcolm in the Middle or Bernie Mac Show. Also, these cut aways or people talking to the camera is getting old. You get it in both Malcolm/Bernie, it happened in Titus and there are a bunch more I can't think of.
I didn't think some of the acting was that great. The show also felt self aware--as if it was purposely trying to be edgy and offensive. The whole gay thing/black thing is just old and almost cliche on a show like this, to me. We've seen it since at least All in the Family in the 70's.

It was OK. I'll give it a chance because of Michael Rappaport.

As soon as the show started, and I heard that laugh track I knew I would hate it. The show was just OK, but it gets a thumbs down because of that alone. I'll give it a couple more chances before my annoyance overcomes my laziness and I cancel the season pass.

Like Mike. Tried keeping focused on his wife's knockers, but this show put me to sleep..

Yes, I was one of the 12 people who watched every episode of that doomed show.

what a total POS show... I'm shock it even made it to the air really, even on fox. Everything about it seemed like a rehash of old tired plot lines.. I did crack a smile a few times but most of the show was just brutaly bad. I'm also really tired of the shows that are looking to show some so called -none perfect sitcom family-- but end up with just showing what amounts to bad parents..
Vs say a show like Married with Children or Quintuplets or Malcom in the Middle etc where you have a sort of screwy family but at the core they still all stick up for each other and so on..
I'm guessing this will be off the air quick..

When I saw this thread I wondered if anyone would mention it. Turned out *everyone* did.
I got a couple laughs from this show, but I sort of feel they shot their whole wad on this one episode. That episode was the show. If you saw that, you saw their season. No need to watch further.

Awful. Laugh track was very annoying, especially since there wasn't anything funny. It seemed like they were going out of their way to say "Look at me...I'm making outrageous comments...and that's funny!"
Wow...unless the can the laugh track and the constant asides I see this lasting maybe 4 episodes, hopefully less.

Wow, words cannot express the awfulness that was this show. It's a travesty that stuff like this even gets on the air. And where DID they get that laugh track anyway? It sounded like what was used in the Brady Bunch or Gilligan's Island.
