Family Guy season premiere episode held due to hurricane references
But we still get a new ep...
Fox Holds Family Guy With Hurricane References
Abstract: Fox has substituted one original episode of Family Guy for another on Sunday, the debut of its new fall season lineup that night, because the episode scheduled to air contained a “couple” references to a hurricane. “Out of sensitivity to what happened, we’re moving it back a couple weeks,” a Fox spokesman told B&C.

So, what groups will they fail to be sensitive to with the replacement episode?
Also, technically, this isn't a "season premiere episode" for FG, no? It's just the rollout of the new lineup that FG is included in, right?

Ah, ok. I guess you're right, it's not technically the season premiere.

Episode Notes
It is not clear if this should be considered season 4 or 5. There is only a few week hiatus, and the last episode was not considered a finale. We'll have to wait and see what Fox does, you may recall something similar happened during season 3.

If you don't want to be offended you shouldn't watch Family Guy. Period. I however, enjoy being offended so I'll tune in.

I don't think those effected by the hurricane will be able to watch the episode anyway.
Plus, it can't possibly be as bad as this thing:

I could give a shit less what's said on Family Guy. I'm just sitting back praying to whatever god will listen for the death of Alex Bornstein and Seth McFarlane. As said over at the Poop Shoot, "The formula for the show once again: grab old pop culture reference. Shoe-horn it into the show, whether it makes sense or not. Repeat."

It's a sad reality shows like Family Guy and South Park are so popular because of fart jokes.
Some good stuff here comparing The Simpsons and Family Guy

There is alot more to South Park than fart jokes. As for Family Guy, the writing can be a little cheap but its funny and that goes a long way.

Man, I'd hate to think what you'd do if they actually did something, I don't know, BAD to you.

Dude. Family Guy is a breath of fresh air amongst all the crappy reality tv shows out there. Honestly, I'd rather watch the worst Family Guy episode twenty times in a row than watch even ten minutes of Survivor, American Idol, or whatever the reality TV du jour happens to be.
At least Family Guy is funny.
