Blue Underground Releases for October 25

Sorry, but I don't feel that a single BU thread that no one remembers is adequate. Create "The One and Only Criterion Collection Thread" and we'll talk.

Coming October 25th from Blue Underground:

The Bird With the Crystal Plumage

Seven Deaths In The Cat's Eye

Strip Nude For Your Killer

I can't wait!

DVDAficionado shows that these were supposed to be in a box set with a couple of other movies for the "Giallo Collection" Vol. 2. Anchor Bay did the first volume. It would be nice to know if this is planned because I would rather get the box set(probably making the movies cheaper).

I think BU have since scrapped plans to release the 'Giallo Collection Vol.2' from what i've been lead to believe.

when are these going to start showing up for preorder at places?

I placed a few orders last night, and was hoping to preorder 'Bird' but it's not up yet at any of the places I checked.

Most definitely. She's popping up in a lot of releases lately, thanks in part to NoShame Films. I'm still astonished by how attractive she is today.

Most of Edwige Fenech's big hits however are still to be released on the US market...esp. the late "school" films.

Man, it's been sooo long since I actually posted or bought dvds. When and if I'm able...I of course will continue to pick up all the BU titles....no surprise there. The ones above are must haves.

My recent MRI is not full of much good news, and I'm afraid I may not be around the forums for a bit longer....if ever. Just felt like chiming in.

Miss you lads.

Thanks for asking D.L.

And Pro...it's been a lomg time it seems since we have chatted. Forgive the brief threadcrap, but since D.L. asked, and it's his thread...I'll give a short report.

I just have a little problem in my brain that we are still not totally sure about as to what to do. It's something that has made my left pointer finger twitch much of the time, my head is ringing 100% of the time and I'm having severe headaches. All this for the last month or so. I have some other symptoms...so I finally had my idiot MD refer me to a neuro...who also happens to be an idiot in a white coat, who seems to have been able to use a few more years in medical school. An MRI revealed a problem that may be fine...but may grow worse. We really don't know. Also, I have a bad mastoid problem on my left side, and may need to have my ear sliced open and peeled back...and bone removed. This could cause hearing loss. So much for needing 5.1 or DTS, huh?

I'm now in the process of dumping my current doctors, and will be hunting for new ones and the best neurosurgeon I can find. That and I want a gradient MRI and CT done...to better tell me whats going on. All in all, I feel like shit and can't enjoy building a library or watching many films. Right now, they really don't matter. I just want to stay alive.

BUT....I had to check in. I've missed everyone and I've missed talking about films and dvds. I'll check in later and I also thought about just starting a thread in the general forum in case anyone wanted to find out whats up. Since the first post I did in this thread....I've recieved about 40 emails from my old loyal buds. Thanks for the prayers!

Now, turn that dvd player back on!
