It does seem interesting, although a little gimmicky. However, any show that tries to do something a little different deserves a chance. At least it's not another z-list non-celebrity being followed around by a camera.

Have the reviews not been kind? I haven't bothered to read any pertaining to this since having viewed the pilot a few months back. My thoughts were definitely of the "meh" variety. Still, if eye-candy's your thing, there's choice aplenty here. Alexa Davalos, who had a short stint on Angel and co-starred in The Chronicles Of Riddick, I personally find stunning. Amanda Righetti's always easy on the eyes, and Chyler Leigh is obviously not to shabby. Of course, Leigh is also regarded as one of the kiss of death poster children considering the number of shows she's been involved in which have either been cancelled outright, or never made it to air, which doesn't bode terribly well.
BTW, for those still mourning over the loss of Six Feet Under, Keith (Mathew St. Patrick) has a role in this as well.

Here's what I *don't* like about the concept: as far as the central mystery goes, sounds like it requires a good first episode, a good last episode, and 18 weeks of filler. I mean, nobody plans a murder for ten or twenty years... it's going to be completely irrelevant until the last episode, which is almost guaranteed to be anti-climactic.

what I don't like about the concept is the fact that we probably won't make it to the end of it. Fox will most likely have this off the air by mid Nov.
I really am very leary of watching anything new on Fox anymore. I enjoy a show and 3 weeks later its gone. Fox really should stop doing shows with arcs since we very rarely get a payoff.

I'm intrigued by the concept so I'll be checking this one out tonight. As long as it's not too horrible I'll probably stick around for the whole season (or however long until it's canceled).

I posted this in another thread, but it fits here: a positive Reunion review.

Screw it, I thought it was an entertaining combination of trashy fun and a smart gimmick. Granted, it will be impossible for me to completely suspend disbelief (especially when these actors try to play late 30s), and the anal-retentive part of me thought it didn't really feel 80's enough (that was a new style Mountain Dew can dammit!), but I'll at least give it a couple of weeks.

What's sort of interesting is how they have to throw in all the cliches at a rapid clip because they have to try and cover the highlights of each year, so the plot twists are brought up and then dealt with without all the usual melodrama of episodic TV that strings out such plot development, all the while, the writers have to weave a murder mystery to sustain the show for 20 episodes. This show could be great, or it might be aiming too high and end up somewhat messy. Time will tell, but I'll tune in the next 5 years, err, episodes...
Oh, someone at Fox must love Amanda Righetti, they keep casting her and I keep tuning in.
