The flags are already at half-mast. Bush was a big fan.

This is really weird. Just this morning, I was searching through the cast of The Grapes of Wrath on IMBD.com. I saw that one of the children was played by the brother of Dwayne Hickman, who played Dobie Gillis on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. That being one of my favorites when I was a kid, I went through the cast listing to see who was still alive from the main cast. I was surprised to see that Denver was 70 already. Then I come home a couple hours later and read that he's died.

Bush was weeping openly "He died without ever getting off that stupid island!"

devilshalo,
Didn't we learn what happens when these two are at the helm?

I bet he's rolling a fattie right about now, wherever he is. The man did like his ganja.

Seriously though, Bob, we'll miss ya.

Doughboy: &

Maynard G. Krebs! will always be best remembered for his involuntary response whenever anyone mentioned the subject of work. He would instantaneously shudder and recoil and let out an anxiety-ridden wail of "WORK!?!?"

THEEK!

My condolences to his family, their loss is shared by many of us. I was with a pal sunday and we were online checking to see how old he was. A classic TV great who will be remembered for ages....who already has been remembered for ages.

Gilligan Island a great show that can be watched over and over again on dvd, funny the critics panned this show, Three`s company and Married with children(all suppose to be low brow shows),the serious high brow shows of thier era Hawai 5-0,Hill St.Blues and LA LAW have become a whimper,10 years from now we all will remember family guy and no one will give a rats arse about csi.rest in piece little buddy you proved that the so called artsy fartsy critics were wrong.

I used to love that show. Sad to hear of his death. Is it for real, or is he just trying to fool the headhunters again?
