Dr. Gruesome on Channel 35 in Richmond.

Here's a thread I started about this topic last Halloween. There's a link to a site about local horror movie hosts.

I can't even recall, but I loved watching who ever it was! I miss programming like that. Late night TV is just reruns of shows aired earlier and infomercials now. It's sad, really.

Super Host on channel 43 in Cleveland. He was always showing Godzilla movies. I also remember him showing one about giant rats.

Dang, you just caused me o have a flashback. Totally forgot about him.

I recall a "M.T. Graves" from someplace, perhaps South Florida but it was too many years ago.

Our local Creature Feature was sponsored by The Acri Siding Company. Each week these two siding salesen would come to this creepy old house to sell the owner siding. The owner was a vampire named Vincent Hedges. He had a hunchback/club foot assistant named Emmett. The salesmen would sit in the livingroom of the house and introduce the movie. Hedges and Emmett would be in the background spying on them though the eyes of paintings, etc. From time to time they would cut to Hedges and Emmett torturing somebody in a dungeon and whatnot.
Remember The Phantom of the Opry on the Nashville Network? He lived in the basement of the Grand Ole Opry House and hosted their Creature Feature.

Ditto. I fondly recall staying up until midnight on Fridays with my cousins and grandma to watch the Ghoul then rolling out of the sack Saturday morning to catch Sir Graves Ghastly. That was an awesome way to start the weekend.

I loved watching those after getting home kinda drunk from the club!

I know they are really embarrassed by their performances, but it was funny.

Those of you that grew up in LA in the 70's (Paul, etc.) may remember this guy:

I had the pleasure of going down to the studio one day and watching him film a program. I have a picture of him and me together (quite embarrassing) that I should scan and post here!

He's been around since at least the late 70's.
