Seen recently in Wedding Crashers and Red Eye
She's a classic beauty, doesn't have the in your face raw sexuality of a Jessica Alba but oozes class.
And she can act ! very well
I think she could be the new improved Julia Roberts

Rachel McAdams plays the daughter of Christopher Walken's powerful politician character (the one Wilson ends up falling for), which is spectacular because she's That Girl from "Mean Girls" and "The Notebook." Let's see ... she's funny as hell ... she's likable ... she's a good actress ... everyone I know loves her ... and yet she probably gets 1/100th of the attention of Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon, the Hiltons and 65-pound Nicole Richie. You figure it out. Hopefully this will be her breakout movie -- she's been the Dwyane Wade of Hollywood for two years running.

I dunno about pretty, but she's a wonderful actress. One of the better young ones around.
I hope the hype machine doesn't destroy her. I fear dating that oaf Ryan Gosling will.

I've only seen in her in Mean Girls(and a few minutes of The Notebook which I'd like to forget), but she never really caught my eye in that movie. Mostly cuz she was standing next to the smoking hot Lacey Chabert the entire time.
But then she turned up at a premiere or some awards show as a brunette and looked 1000 times cuter. She kinda reminds me of Emma Caulfield(Anya from Buffy). Especially with her ever-changing hair color.
She'll never be America's Sweetheart though, since she's Canadian.
Seriously though, I hope she doesn't go the Julia Roberts or Reese Witherspoon route and make a crapload of chick flicks. I like how her last four films(all box office hits) have each been so different from one another.

I agree that Lacey Chabert was nothing to look at in Lost In Space or prior but she has grown into a strikingly beautiful woman. Rachel McAdams does not come close in my eyes. I'm not saying she's ugly but she does absolutely nothing for me.
As for her acting, I've only seen her in a few things so I feel I can't give an opinion regarding her acting... yet.
