HEXED on DVD. When did this happen?

So, I'm in Best Buy picking up HERO AT LARGE, and what do I see? HEXED, on DVD? Last I checked this was only on VHS.

Probably my guiltiest of guilty pleasures. I know the movie is silly and stupid, but it's SO silly and SO stupid it cracks me up. On DVD for $15 - Anamorphic widescreen, Featurette, deleted scenes and a Director's commentary no less. All of this for a film that has been basically stuck in the graveyard of late night cable showings for years.

It's fun to find something that you weren't expecting. If only they had had THE GUMBALL RALLY, I would have been all set.

Alan Spencer's Hexed, with Claudia Christian? Came out July 5th, day after the holiday. I've been meaning to pick it up, but I'm broke.

I'll have to spring for Hero At Large, though...my very favorite movie with John Ritter.

I saw this only once--on VHS back in 1993. I remember it being hysterical. When I learned of this DVD release, and the effort that was put into it, I was rather taken aback. This wasn't a big movie, and it certainly didn't demand this kind of treatment. So I'm most pleased by what they did. Will probably pick it up eventually.

Heh, I thought it was going to be the British TV series too, I was going to have to think about it for a moment.

I do love the Murderess/Methodist line though.
