Certainly doesn't seem like a ripoff or anything. Something I've discovered over the years buying Marley music is that you'll find each of his regular albums to be worth owning. I have his first box set and like it, but I've discovered some amazing songs that were left off.

It depends on what you're looking for. These are some of Marley's earlier recordings and not the ones he's best known for in the U.S. It's not a bad collection although there are other budget compilations available. If you're not going to listen to a 4-CD set, I'd suggest going for something shorter.

I used to have a roommate who had essentially the same box set, except this was the early 80s and they were LPs. The sound quality won't be great, but the songs and performances are outstanding.
