Brazilian Job (aka Italian Job 2)

Not much info yet,I think we all could guess what the plot will be.Most of the originals are back. The first wasn't too bad,so this might be worth a look.Unless,it's another Ocean's 12.

I could see some jokes coming about that title.

David Twohy was interviewed about his involvement. He wrote a script for a heist film called the "Wrecking Crew" that he wanted to direct himself. When he went in to pitch it to the studio they liked the script, so much so that they decided to use it as the basis for the sequel to Italian Job.

Sounds good if the whole cast returns. Italian Job was a pretty entertaining flick, so I'm hoping this one is too.

I just hope they give Seth Green's character a new nickname this time. The "Napster" thing was the only bit I hated from the first one (or is that second one?). It was already so dated by the time that movie came out.

I would really doubt it, unless he's under some contractual obligation. Story goes, he had no real interest in doing the first film, and only did so to finish up a contract with Paramount.

I doubt it.
Spoiler:
We were led to believe he was killed by the Ukrainian guy at the end of the first one.
And even if they made up some story that he got away off screen, he'd most likely be constantly on the run for his life rather than causing the old crew any more trouble.

That said, I liked the remake so I'm optimistic about it getting a sequel.

Norton is one of my favorite actors. I hope they get someone as good as he is to play the bad guy this time.

Cilian Murphy seems to handle playing the bad guy. He wouldn't be a bad choice, imo.

The Original starring Michael Caine was outstanding and actually very funny to boot. The re-make was also very well done and I really liked it. The news about the sequel is definately good, I just hope they can figure out a realistic way in which to bring Norton's character back into the fold. He was (as usual) pretty freakin' good.

I actually think of Brazilian sex change operations. If this movie really takes place in Brazil and makes not a single joke about all the trannies I will be upset.
