SG-1 & SG-A 8/12
SG-1 was pretty good.
Basically, Vala had tricked some people into thinking she was a Goa'uld god and there is a conflict between those believers and the followers of the Ori. Then some people people get sick and Vala can't heal them, then the Ori guy heals them.
Well, I didn't really watch much of SG-A but just made room here for it anyway.

Just because not enough people watch it doesn't mean it's crap.

Funny, that hardly anyone ever posts about these shows but its a top rated show for the network?
I've started watching this season because of Ben and Claudia but I am still not overwhelmed. I think the writing is ok.

I personally have enjoyed the fact that they hit the reset button. This season seems fresher and wonder where the ORII(sp) will lead our group of explorers.
Some of the scope of new worlds and enemies are back. It is not just another Goa'uld of the week.
Same with Atlantis, hiding and lieing to the Wraith have made for some interesting episodes. I really enjoyed the ending of this past weeks. Nice to see the "justice" given to the folks on the mainland.

Ahhh but was that justice. Note that true reason fro the prison was a secret. Sot now all these Wraiths are going to be eating people that had no idea good people were being sent along with the bad. The girl that narced on them will be killed with the other people.

I believe the residents were aware, possibly low key, of what the leaders were doing to keep them safe. When cullings stopped, the population had to wonder why and I would imagine more and more people were being "convicted" of crimes just to meet the demands of the Wraith. People had to at least subliminally know what was going on, even if they didn't want to admit it.
Just my opinion.

actually Vala was their gould ruler for while
she just continued to come back with that voice changer after the gould was removed
I don't have much hope for this season of sg1 though

I thought it was kinda slick how the on Atlantis delt with the Wraith but you knew there was no way they could legitimately maintain a high enough prison population for the Wraith.

As straightfoward as the shows may be, we still can speculate where both shows are going (up/down?). I like SG-1 better but Atlantis sometimes has good episodes.
I'm wondering if SG-1 will lose some viewers when Black leaves. I'm counting on the Ori aliens to deliver big.

I've never been a Stargate viewer, but the addition of Black and Browder have me tuning in this season. Black has been the one piece of the show that has been working for me, so something needs to click before she leaves if I'm going to continue watching.
Either way I'll miss her since she is so "seductively attractive" .
