Entourage - "The Bat Mitzvah" - 8/07

The Bat Mitzvah

Spoiler:
Vince gets up-front about his feelings for Aquagirl, sending everyone into a panic. Meanwhile, Ari's partner Terrance resurfaces, Eric splurges on an "investment" suit, and Drama and Turtle have high hopes for Little Miss Ari's Bat Mitzvah.

Is the rest of this season going to have Mandy Moore and her relationship (or lack thereof) with Vince as a focal point?

Guess I was right about Vince and Mandy.

Turtle and Drama owned this ep., no denying that. Was Melinda Clarke on Desperate Housewives at one point? She looked familiar. Overall this was probably my least favorite ep. of the season, but it was still good. Once again it seemed like the show was over as soon as it started.

Melinda Clarke is Julie Cooper on The O.C.

Who played Sloan? She looked really familiar and I can't figure out where I've seen her before.

Emmanuelle Chriqui played Sloan. Don't you just love that movie with the N'Sync guys?

Loved Drama and Turtle in this episode.

Stupid question, but how much was that check that Terrance handed Ari for? I missed it.

Every week TMN, which airs Entourage in Canada, cuts off the last couple of minutes, and every week, I forget to extend it.

Can someone tell me what happens in the last five minutes or so?

Ari pulls Terrance aside and makes it clear that he will be keeping Vince, as he has brought him up from nothing and is now "on the cusp." Terrance states that his company mantra is that all clients can be represented by any agent, to which Ari states that he is a partner. Terrance says he has had partners before, not all of whom have lasted.

Drama and Turtle eat their newfound food poolside by some kids who need a light for their joint. The guys lecture the kids on the downsides of drugs, but the kids ask for the light anyway.

Sloan and Vince are alone in a lobby somewhere and Vince talks up Eric, saying how good of a guy he is, and how pissed he probably is at him for "working" her. Sloan says she never dates actors anyway. Vince gets a phone call.

Sloan finds Eric and makes him dance with her and tells him not to worry so much about Vince.

Mandy meets Vince outside of wherever he was, and tells him that she is "on a break" with her fiance. She also tells Vince she isn't over him either; the two drive off to talk about things over coffee.

It may just be me, but I'm not diggin the whole Vince and Mandy thing. It makes Vince seem less cool that he isn't over Mandy. I hope they finish this up soon.

I agree. Part of the reason I like Vince is because he's such a player. I hope he plays Mandy in an upcoming episode. I doubt its going to last past this season anyway.

Speaking of which, how many eps left? I don't get HBO when I go back to school so I hope everythings wrapped up by then.

Agreed. I was happy to get more Ari in this episode. The smile on his face when he said that was great. I thought Vince screwing with E's head was pretty funny too.

But it's Mandy Freakin' Moore! I'm not a big fan of her work, but damn she's cute.
