3rd Rock From The Sun: Season 1 (Are these the syndicated episodes?)
With all of the short-changing that Anchor Bay has been doing lately as well as the 21+ minutes that each episode runs I must ask this question. There are a few reviewers on another site claiming that at least one described scene is missing from an episode on disc 1. I felt that the show ran just a tad bit short at 21 minutes and change but I can't compare it to memory as I didn't watch the show during any broadcast. Can anyone either confirm that these episodes are syndicated or not?

I've been in the business, you can only produce product from what the give you. Even if the distributors, in this case Anchor Bay, flags the issue, Casey/Werner probably doesn't care aside from the licensing fees and the additional residuals they're being paid for the units sold.
They've already admitted that Roseane will be syndicated cuts.
The Cosby Show contains the syndication masters.
More than likely, A Different World will also be made from the syndicated masters.
This is enough of a track record to blame only one company, the original rights holders of the product, Casey/Werner.
As for wether 3rd Rock is using syndicated prints, I'm not sure. I started watching the first episode, and it seems a little short, but I'm not 100% certain of the show original run times.
