NYPD Blue Season 3!!! Hill Street Blues, Alien Nation, and more Fox DVD releases.

TVshowsonDVD.com has posted a list of Fox TV on DVD releases, and it looks like we're getting NYPD Blue season 3 in January of next year. Here's the list:

M*A*S*H Season 9 - December
Murder One Season 2 - November
Remington Steel Season 2 - November
24 Season 4 - December
King of the Hill Season 5 - November
Reba Season 2 - December
The Shield Season 4 - Winter 06 (depends on the premiere of season 5)
NYPD Blue Season 3 - January 06
Simpsons Season 7 - December (Fox has told us this may move)
Alien Nation - Coming Soon
Hill Street Blues - Coming Soon
Over There - Coming Soon
Space: Above and Beyond - Coming Soon
Time Tunnel - Coming Soon
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - Coming Soon
White Shadow - Coming Soon

While "Coming Soon" isn't the best of dates, at least it tells us that they're working on the project.

Thanks for the news - I was beginning to doubt that NYPD BLUE would ever make it!

Great that they're working on HSB. Now let's cross our fingers that we'll get uncut broadcast episodes in OAR in complete season sets.

It has had a release date before. January '03, I believe. So I'll believe it when it is sitting on my dvd shelf.

Looks like they are getting a faster schedule for Simpsons rather than once a year. That is good news! And hopefully for season 7, they give fans a choice of which package to buy in the store!

Sorry, Gord. I was so happy to see a new possible release date for NYPD Blue S3 that I forgot to link to the article.

Haha. I'll believe NYPD S3 when I have it my friggin' hands. Until then, it's still not available, and I'm pissed off.

Amen to that. Every time it's supposed to come out, we get the "the market is too saturated" excuse. Well, the saturation of the market is not going to decrease for a long time. There are just way too many shows still not out on DVD, not to mention releasing a previous season of a current show before the new season begins.

I know I'll never see all 12 seasons lined up on my shelf - people were so hostile towards Rick Schroeder that they probably will stop buying the sets at that point, which will kill any future releases. But dammit, at least give me the Franz / Smitts years.

I liked "The Ricker".

So did I, and I liked Goessler after him. The characters weren't as good as Bobby, but they were still enjoyable. Especially Gossler, as he and Franz developed a son / father relationship between their characters.

I liked them both as well. The thing I hated was the cheap ploy to make them both raging drunks to play off Andy's soberness.

Anyway it is now official again. Feb 21st is the day. And like I said above, I'll believe it when it is sitting on my shelf.
