VEGOOSE will draw inspiration from its Las Vegas location and, of course, the spirit of Halloween to create a unique and unforgettable festival experience. There will be interactive attractions, performance artists, and art installations * including elements of the Las Vegas entertainment and performance community. Don't forget to bring your costume!

Tickets for the two-day festival at Sam Boyd Stadium will go on sale Saturday, August 13 at 10AM PST through this website.

In addition to the events at the stadium, VEGOOSE will be augmented by a series of special late night performances from October 28-31 at select venues throughout Las Vegas, including the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, the Orleans Arena and other venues. These shows will be ticketed separately. The line up and details for these shows will be announced at a later date. Ticket availability for these shows will be limited. Those who have purchased tickets to VEGOOSE will be given the first opportunity to purchase tickets to late night shows in a special pre-sale. Details will be made available at the same time as the shows are announced.

And for those who don't know where Sam Byrd Stadium is, it's Las Vegas.

Given that Las Vegas is mentioned at least 4 times in the press release, I really didn't see the point of emphasizing that fact.

OH SHIT! THE HIPPIES ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER VEGAS THAT WEEKEND!

Pearl Jam was rumored to be apart of the festival, but I guess that's not happening.

I know my girlfriend is probably going to drag me to Dave Matthews. God, help me.

Depending on pricing, I wouldn't mind seeing Jack Johnson, Ween, Primus, or The Shins. Those are the only four acts listed on there that I'd probably see. Since I don't smoke weed, my interest in everything else is not there.

And if the price is just right, I'd have no problems beating the living shit out of The Flaming Lips for an entire song set. YEAH!

This is absolutely the worst time in the world to be dealing with money issues... Shit. The late shows are worth the trip.

Late night for me...

28th - Toss up between moe. and Trey. Trey's new stuff hasn't really grabbed me, but I haven't seen his new band live yet either. Not sure what I'll do.

28th - SCI. Really can't stand STS9.

30th - Another toss-up. Love both Galactic and Ryan Adams. The opportunity to see Adams sing a bunch of GD tunes may be too good to pass up.

31st - Ween. No contest.
