Ryan Adams: September - 9/27/05

RYAN ADAMS & THE CARDINALS will release their new album ’SEPTEMBER’ on September 26 [edit: September 27 in the U.S.].

The LP will be the second of three releases from the band in 2005, and follows on from May’s double LP ’Cold Roses’. It had previously been announced the album would be titled ’Jacksonville’

Produced by Tom Schick, the album will feature 15 tracks including ’Dear John’ - a duet with Norah Jones.

Cold Roses was defintely a big step back in the right direction after his last two releases. Glad to see the Cardinals are still backing him.

Damn, that guy is fast. Can't wait to hear it. I like all of his albums, with "Gold" being my favourite.

This one is supposed to be a honky-tonkish approach.

I was a big fan of Rock N Roll, but Cold Roses was pretty awesome as well. I've got to see him once in concert, and it was a standard RA show, with minor tantrums, but I enjoyed it so very very much (also helped that Jesse Malin opened... any fan of Ryan should check out Jesse, he rocks quite a bit)

God bless The New York Dolls, if for no other reason than that I can pass off my crappy lead guitar playing as an homage to Johnny Thunders, instead of it just being crappy on its own.

'Jacksonville City Nights' will feature Norah Jones

Ryan Adams has confirmed the tracklisting for his second album of the year.

'Jacksonville City Nights' is released on September 26, and will feature a duet with Norah Jones on 'Dear John' .

The album was produced by Tom Schic and is again credited to Ryan Adams And The Cardinals.
