Clarissa Explains it all and Pete and Pete will be releasing second season's, on Nov 1st.
The 2nd of three seasons of The Adventures of Pete & Pete is coming to DVD this Fall. Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon are teaming up for a new "Rewind Collection" that ought to encompass 13 episodes (including both parts of "Farewell, My Little Viking"). After the huge popularity of our news story about the first season DVD release, Gord and I have kept our eyes and ears open for info about the second season of this show, and we've come through for you with first word of a planned November 1st street date. Be aware, though, that we're passing this along prior to the formal announcement, and as such we don't have cover art or other details, and the date we were provided is still very subject to change. We will keep you informed of any developments, though, so stay tuned!
Melissa Joan Hart returns to DVD with the 2nd of five seasons from Clarissa Explains It All. Expect 13 more episodes of the Nickelodeon classic show as Nick and Paramount Home Entertainment team up for another popular "Rewind Collection" DVD package. The first-season news has been one of the most popular stories here at TVShowsOnDVD, so we've kept a sharp eye out for info about the second season. Even though the formal announcement is still pending, we've learned that current plans are to roll out the next 2-disc package on November 1st. Stay tuned for more info, and cover art, once Paramount makes it official

This is very good news indeed. Very glad to see that the Rewind Collection was popular enough to at least bring these two back, and perhaps some much-wanted others....

just finished my pete & pete disc over the weekend. happy to hear more is on the way. I am however a little suprised that they are not getting some other shows out with season 1's first. I still want my roundhouse and are you afraid of the dark.

Cool. Pete and Pete was a blind-buy for me, but I really liked what I've seen of it so far. I'll definitely pick up the last two seasons.
I just wish the discs were in their original airdate order. I have no idea if the episodes were first or the specials or shorts. I'm usually a stickler for watching things in the intended order, so that was kind of frustrating.

I hope they include the Pete & Pete shorts with this upcoming season 2 set. The miniscule extras they put with season 1 were inexcusable considering all the stuff they could have included.

I got it through Walmart.com for $18.89 or so.
Picture looks the same as S1, sound is fine. Decent audio commentaries on four episodes, some of which involve Big Pete, Little Pete, and Artie. Some interesting stuff, some dead air, but overall, pretty good commentaries. Great set.
