FATAL ATTRACTION is being re-made...with LL COOL J!!!
The subject sounds like a bad joke, but...From fangoria.com:
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a remake of the 1987 psychothriller FATAL ATTRACTION will be the first film in a multi-year, multi-production deal that rapper/actor LL Cool J has signed with Lions Gate Films. According to the Reporter, Cool J, who has previously starred in DEEP BLUE SEA and HALLOWEEN: H20, will be “taking on a much more involved role then he has with his [previous] films.” Cool J and manager Jason Barrett of Alchemy Entertainment are set as producers, while LGF president of production Michael Paseornek and senior vp of production John Sacchi will oversee.
First on the actor’s plate will be an “urban version” of ATTRACTION, which starred Michael Douglas as a philandering husband who is stalked by his jilted mistress (Glenn Close). States the Reporter, “Cool J will play an everyman who gets into serious trouble when he engages in an extramarital affair.”

Lemme guess, Gabrielle Union will play the psycho? Probably her or the other 4 or so African-American actresses that populate Hollywood.

Hahahaa. I laughed out loud just reading the title to this thread. Oh my god that's so awful. Has there ever been a good "urban remake" of a film???

Cool J, cheats on his black wife with a white women.
Kicks the white women's ass to the curb.
and she comes back looking for revenge.
Once you go black you never go back!

My guess is they'll want to have a least one hip-hop/R&B actress in the cast. Maybe Beyonce as the Glenn Close character. While we're at it, let's not forget a Tone Loc cameo as the wisecracking friend of the husband! If they go for a hispanic, then I do suggest either Eva Mendes or maybe Salma Hayek.
Please, let this be a joke.
