ask Warren Beatty about Reds. He's probably too busy thinking about all the women he slept with to OK a dvd release of his puppy.

Becket was originally going to be released in 2003 by MPI, but the disc never materialized.

According to the HTF thread cited below, the AMPAS archive spent considerable money restoring the film to it's original "international" version, so it's possible the release is in limbo while the Academy, MPI, Paramount and/or the Hal Wallis estate negotiate various print/DVD rights.

I know, I was asking about a re-release. Re-read the opening post.

the only bonnie & clyde info i could pull up was

Upcoming 2-disc Warner Bros DVDs

most every other title on that list has been released or re-released as a warner two disc set. I have seen other post about this title but couldn't dig it up for you.

Anybody know if Sergeant York will ever be on DVD? barry maxwell at the bits is saying 2006 for this one.

The Mr. Smith goes to Washington dvd is pretty good...it could be more thorough, and lord knows columbia could stand dropping the msrp of its classics line down to at least 19.99...but i wouldn't put that one off to long.

and when Reds is released you can get behind me in line...

hope that helps
