Spanish TV comedy series - question

Who and what is the Spanish comedy that features some guy in a yellow and orange leotard and has bug antenna sticking out of his head? I was channel surfing the other day and I saw an ad for the DVD Box set release of this series.

I thought El Chapulin Colorado wore a red suit, hence the name "Colorado".

There are R1 releases for the Best of Chapulin Colorado. I have all 3 volumes so far.

Hmm. Must look into getting those. My brother can still sing the theme song.
Are there Chavo del Ocho DVDs?

Someone needs to bang on side of t.v.

You forgot to mention his hammer.

bub2000,

Yes, there are also the Best of Chavo del 8 volumes availble. Check Amazon.ca since that's where I got my dvds from. Check my link to my collection and you will see the DVDs under TV Shows.

They are not exactly cheap and also got to warn you that some of the volumes don't contain full episodes but is better than nothing.

As Chapulin Colorado used to say:

"No contaban con mi astucia"

Bring back good memories.

You can blame DC cable (Comcast) some stations have terrible colours and other assundry problems.

I was looking over at the amazon listings for the DVD - and it looks like though they are in Spanish only - no English (sadly - no hablo espanol).

Sorry, forgot to mention this important detail. Yes, it is Spanish only with no English subtitles at least on the first 3 volumes that I have.
