Lukewarm deal at Media Play: Buy season 1, any other season 50% off
They were handing out small papers in Media Play today, and one of the deals was "buy the first season of any TV series on DVD at regular price, get any other season in the series at 50% off"
This could have been a great deal for someone with money to burn and a 4 or 5 plus season series to get. Unfortunately, one of the clerks told me that the 50% off applies to only ONE purchase, so you can't go in and grab Stargate season 1 and then grab 2-7 at 50%. So for the most part the price ends up being what you would pay in any other B&M and probably still more than you would pay at Deep Discount.
