War of the Worlds Radio Broadcast?
Hello. Wasn't sure if this was the right forum but since it deals w/ a cd hopefully someone can help me out. Is the original radio broadcast of 'War of the Worlds' readily available on CD? Is there a certain one that is better? Any links would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Yep.
The Very Best of Orson Welles: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music
War of the Worlds (limited edition): http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music

All pretty cheap. I haven't heard them, so I don't know about quality, packaging, etc.

Or you could get this one. This would be like the Special Edition of the broadcast. In addition to a book with the complete novel and text of the broadcast, it has audio extras including people's reactions to it and Welles talking to reporters about it the next day and later. The price is steep, but there's also a link to a paperback version for half the cost of the hardcover.
