Hi

My brother offered me the five seasons of the series " West Wing".

I already watched the first and second seasons:

My opinion :

First Season : 6,5/10

Second Season : 8/10

I ask:

From now on can I expect:

- An improvement in the general quality of the series ?

- Something like 10/10 ??

I'm surprised you gave S1 that low of a score.

S3 is very good - I think it is the same league as the first 2.

S4 is where the decline begins. Most of the season was mediocre, but the last 3 episodes are amazing.

S5 is the first one w/o Sorkin at the helm and it shows. Not particularly good. Only one standout episode.

S6 rebounds somewhat as they take the show in a different direction.


As for my collection, I am stopping after S3.

i will probably stop after S4 unless i find a great deal down the road, completist that i am. as for season rankings, i think S2 and S1 are both fantastic with 2 edging out 1 just a bit. 3 is good and 4 starts to suffer a bit with Rob Lowe leaving. 5 is utter horror and 6 was better but not great, but that's just me.
