Love Steve Winwood. Incredibly talented artist. Plays all instruments. Genius musically ...
Saw him at The Beacon on Monday 6/20.
Played for apprx. 2:45, but ...
He only played 3 solo songs!
Most of the stuff he did was Traffic. Long doodling on the piano. First half of the show was a big snooze.
He DID NOT play Arc of A Diver, While You See A Chance, Roll With it, Valerie.
He only played 'Back in the High Life' and a funky version of 'Higher Love' from his solo days (and 1 cut off his last album who's title escapes me).
STEVE: I LOVE YOU BUT WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR SOLO MATERIAL???
