why do cups always sound empty on tv?
you know, a person takes a "sip", then puts the cup down and it gives that hollow cup sound as it hits the table. it sounds stupid. i know its fake but at least pretend like they are drinking something instead of sipping air. either put something in there or use sound effects to cover it up.
yeah i know its a minor thing but it bugs me

Actually, it has always bugged me when soda/beer cans are obviously empty in TV shows and movies. The empty aluminum can sound always bugs me enough to break the suspension of belief.
