From Dusk Till Dawn DVD questions.

I bought a copy of the SE today and Disc 1 has the extras, while Disc 2 contains the movie itself. Does anyone know if this was some known error at the pressing plant, or if it was meant to be this way.

Thanks!

I bought it when it was first released and the discs are as you described. Stupid as it is, I guess it's done intentionally if they haven't fixed it. Full Tilt Boogie is a great doco though!

There was never any reason for this....it's just one of those things that happens.

I remember what a colossal hassle this DVD was around the time of its release. Remember not knowing if it would contain the Full Tilt Boogie disc? Half the online sites said it was going to be a 2 DVD release for the first film and the rest of the sites said it was just a single DVD. I went ahead my box set without even knowing what the hell I'd end up with.

Yup so dont bother with the Amerian dvds as other versions in other countries are identical, but anamorphic, so no reason to get the R1.

DOH! too late can you recommend some good non-R1 editions. the image on the R1 seemed really soft.

The UK R2 version is the one I ended up with, the same as the R1 except better picture and anamorphic
I have had 4 versions of the film on dvd and the newer 2 dvd R2 ended up looking the best for me

The UK 2 dvd set is pretty cheap also in sales all the time.
