Glitch with Casino "Anniversary Edition"?

....Wow! I can't believe this film's an entire year old....anyway.

About 2 hrs. into the film, the picture begins to get weird. The best I can describe is like when you rent a disc and it's dirty/scratched and green, white, and black pixelated boxes appear on the screen, the movie never stalls, the picture just seems to break up. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can't comment specifically on this disc, but since it's a dual-sided dual-layered disc from Universal, problems are not a surprise. It seems many of their dual-sided discs are problematic. I suggest exchanging it for a new copy.

I was able to play the film flawlessly but ran into some major glitching/freezing in the "Casino: The Look" documentary.

I finally got around to wathcing this, and I am having some major freezing and pixelation problems at the 1 hour 31 minute mark. I was playing it on my computer, I will also check it later on my woman's dvd player.

Also has the freezing problem (the picture froze but the DVD kept running) just before the 100 min. mark. Took it back for an exchange and the replacement works perfectly.

My disc had a glitch as well. In the final sequence of the film, the disc briefly froze and then jumped to a scene that took place over 45 mins. beforehand. I ordered my disc online so I'm not sure how I would even do an exchange, or whether or not it would even be worth it. Oh well.

Yeah I also encountered a problem with my copy, the movie played flawlessly but on the other side, a few of the Documentaries had MAJOR glitch problems, skipping, interplaced images, etc. Exchanged it for a new copy yesterday, and finished watching the Special Features, everything seemd A ok!

Mine froze at exactly the same point on my Sony player. Piece of crap Universal. It's really frustrating because I've never actually seen Casino -- I've been meaning to for ten years, and I finally get around to it, and this is the thanks I get.

Major suckage. If I want Casino in the future, and I do love it, I guess I'll go the R2 route. The UK edition is 2 discs, right?

Had same glitch at 91 minute mark, player Denon 2900. Film froze then jumped 30 minutes from that point.
Exchanged and went immediately to that mark which played ok. Have not watched entire film thru to check though.
U should issue a recall asap

Watched it on my old Daewoo: whole movie with commentary, all the special fetures, zero glitches.

Amazon.com sent me a replacement Casino DVD. Side "A" had a couple of scratches and started to freeze during playback. So far, the replacement disc made it through the layer switch. I have to remember to send the defective disc back before they charge me twice.
