Not a bad deal. I ordered Kill Bill Vol. 2.

The "We can cancel this offer at any time!" disclaimer is a little unsettling, though.

Well, I went for it this time. Buy 1 get 1 for two movies on my want list is good enough to hook me. I just hope Team America is the widescreen version and hopefully the unrated. If not It may quickly be up for trade.

Thanks for the update.

They state that it is the unrated version, and the one pictured is the WS, so better than even odds that it is the one that you want.

Has anyone actually recieved it yet, I'm tempted to order, but between the Team America DVd not showing up in the card, and the Harold and Kumar unrated not being linked on that page.

I think that means that the offer could go away at any time in the future - not that they could make it disappear after you had taken advantage of it.

Nice! Wasn't worth it with 2 movies, but was for one.

I ordered Bourne Supremacy, just under $18 including tax.

...or wait for the DVDs to go into 2 for $15/$20 sales at some stores.

No USPS shipping to Hawaii.

$20 for shipping kind of kills the deal for me.

Nice deal though. Thanks for posting it.

I ordered a while back. Got the only two movies that I didn't have and that were cheap enough.
Movies came about a week ago.
No word on the Team America DVD. Slightly off-putting...

They seem to have removed the deal from the 2005 mtv movie awards page. If one clicks on this banner at the top of that page:
it links to an image describing the old deal (buy 2), but that may just be an oversight. It is very possible that both deals are dead.

Still waiting on Team America. Has anyone called or got any information on when we might expect these to show up.

Strange -- they are giving out the unrated version of Team America, but Harold and Kumar is the rated version. And that's what I ordered without really looking close.

I got my order today (for Hitch), but no Team America.

I'm wondering if/when I'll receive this as well because there is no indication on my confirmation email or the packing slip saying that I am entitled to the free DVD.

I'll just keep it sealed until I know for sure. That way I'll send it back if I don't get it. I'm not paying $22 for a DVD I can get at CH for $10.

*edit* I just emailed them, so I'll let you all know the response I get.

I emailed customer support on Tuesday, but they still haven't gotten back to me with an answer. This is as much information as I got (seems like a standard reply):
Hi,

Just a note to let you know we have not forgotten about your email and we are working on your situation. We will get back to you as quickly as possible. If your situation is urgent, please telephone us at 866-271-3321.

Sincerely,

MTV Customer Support
If someone else is a little less patient about finding out info, the toll-free number might be worth a try.

I got the same response when I emailed them yesterday.

I called the customer service number and all CSR told me is that "they received my response via email and it is being forwarded to the approporiate department for resolution and I will hear back from them via email within 3-5 business days".

Typical bullshit answer to keep the customer hanging (plus the call sounded outsourced). I am getting a bad feeling about this offer. It's a good thing I didn't open the DVD. I just find it unsettling that there is no indication that I am entitled to the free DVD.

If they try to screw me on this offer they will find themselves getting their DVD back.

Got mine today as well...

I even ordered the unrated version of Harold and Kumar for $12.30 before s&h. Not a bad deal for $15.00.

Well, someone might have to clarify this for me...
I ordered Garden State and Mean Girls to get in on this (I had to order two, right?)
Yesterday, I got Team America in the mail.
Today I got another copy of Team America.

Was it buy 1 get 1, (hence the two?)
Or is this just a bank-error-in-your favor collect $50 type of thing...
