Mortal Kombat (2021, D: McQuoid, P: James Wan)

Stumbled accross this on IMDB

Is it definitely being made ?

I liked the first two Mortal Kombat movies so am keen to see another.

Interested it lists Linden Ashby back as Johnney cage, he was in the first but not the second. At the time Linden hit it big in Melrose place, guess now he has fallen on tougher times and will take any part he can get.

As long as Robin Shou is back (which I think he would be), I'm game for a third flick.

I just hope they change the name of the movie to Mortal Kombat: Devastation before it's released.

Rumors about a third MK have been floating around for a while. Most if not all of those rumors have Johnny Cage being brought back to life in one way or another.

Nothing can beat the Mario Brothers. Not even a Halo movie, or that Final Fantasy mumbo jumbo.

I really liked the tv series. Mortal Kombat seems like it would be a easy movie to do but I doubt they will pull it off. The second one just sucked.

He did. Of course, i think he "died" in the storyline of the games as well. I think he's brought back to life or something

That says a lot more than I'm sure you were intending.

I'm down for another Mortal Kombat movie. I wouldn't see it in the theater, but I'd rent it. The soundtracks are pretty good, as well.

Double Dragon? No, but Alyssa Milano and Julia Nickson
Super Mario Bros? No.

All I know is that Christopher Lambert has also been rumoured as returning for this as well. Though he was rumoured way back since this was called Mortal Kombat: Domination so who knows if he still cares.

Thats awesome. I was pretty sure that this film would stay in development hell forever. I just hope its not straight to video.
