$11.97 shipped for Zombie 3, 4 and 5 box set!

The set is the current releases of Zombi 3, 4 and 5 that are from Media Blasters/Shriek Show. Same extras and packaging as the individual titles; all 3 DVD's are in regular size Amaray cases. The box they come in doesn't have graphic artwork on it that's as good as the title covers. Anyway, how could you pass on getting that much cheese for less than $4 a slice? They're all in their original aspect ratio and widescreen enhanced, the picture quality is great, they have good extras and Zombi 3 has the footage that was added to the Japanese release.

Here's the link to the Zombie Pack:

Here are links to the pics and plots for each film. DeepDiscount didn't list the extras, so I've included that.

Zombi 3 (1988) commentary, talent biographies, liner notes, exclusive interviews with cast and crew - http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/redir...fier=MBI000220

Zombie 4: After Death (1988) interview with Claudio Fragasso (Writer/Director) and Jeff Stryker - http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/redir...fier=MBI002249

Zombie 5: Killing Birds (1987) interview with Robert Vaughn, original theatrical trailer, picture gallery - http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/redir...fier=MBI003149

Man... while that's a great price, aren't all of them supposed to be really, really bad? Any positive opinions out there? Still, that's a lot of zombie for the $$...

* This item is a pre-order. It will ship to arrive on or around the scheduled release date. (06/14/05).

Weird - I saw this in BestBuy on Saturday, so they obviously have copies in store. I put it back because it seemed expensive for what it was; but I don't remember the exact price. Their website lists it for $14.99 so it's not an incredible deal, but hell, I'm in for under $12... why not? I'm gonna order one... thanks!

I happened to like Zombi 3, although I don't think the DVD has a commentary track. Very decent. Zombie 4 was slipping a little, but had good gore. They both seemed to have more of an action edge to them. And I haven't seen part 5, it didn't look that great, "killing birds"? But yeah, if I hadn't picked up the other two when they first came out, I'd have jumped on this deal. In fact I saw this set at Best Buy (they must have jumped the gun), and instead of most media blasters sets, this actually has all three individual DVD's with cases in a sleeve box - not like their Asian sets where they cram all 3 dvds into a plastic case. Pretty cool.

I am watching it right now. Not great, but for the price they are fun if you like horror movies of the cheesey variety.
