DVD Talk review of 'Stripes: Extended Edition'
I read Scott Weinberg's DVD review of Stripes: Extended Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16043 and I have a question about this comment:
Why does the use of seemless branching disqualify the extended cut as a second version of the film?
My sincerest thanks to Columbia Home Video for including both versions of the film on this DVD. (Well, it's actually only one version of the movie; the extra scenes get slipped into the extended cut via the magical art of "seamless branching".)

You said the Gbs trailer is on there. Now is it the 1984 trailer or is it a special trailer for the new DVD coming out?

There's a MAJOR blunder in the new STRIPES Exended Cut DVD:
================================================
The deleted scene where P.J. Soles goes TOPLESS when they are in Germany
is the exact same BEDROOM SET with fireplace as the prior segment where they
run to General Barnacy's house and bedroom; Murray's GREEN shirt is the same also -
I believe the topless segment was intended to be inserted BEFORE the scene where she stretches out of the cabinet with Murray at Barnacy's....
Also note Murray's plaid shirt in BOTH Barnacy's house and when they arrive/leave Germany - both totally different prior to BOTH bedroom scenes.
