That DC Opening is too similar to Marvel's.

But I'll be there opening day with my cowl on!

Yeah, it even had the same WB in the corner. Weird.

Everything about this movie so far has me excited, except for Katie Holmes. I just don't see how they can cast actors like Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale, Ken Watanabe, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Rutger Hauer and then throw Katie Holmes in there. The chick is just not a good actor. She's average at best. Anyone know who was up for her role, because I have to believe that several real actors must have turned this down before it was offered to her.

Looks great. Can't wait to hear what villains will be in the sequels. Speaking of which, check this out Batman fans:

Nolan and Goyer apparently worked on the script with her in mind.

I can't wait to see this-- i'm not sure if I should go see it in the theater or at the imax when it comes around.

they must have some type of Joey crush But really, don't just about all writers say something like that so as to not "disrespect" their actors?

If it's plays at an IMAX theatre I'll probably check it out there. I've never seen a movie in IMAX before.

Very nice. I'll be there for opening day, hopefully at an IMAX. I've never seen a movie there, and it seems like a good one to start out with.

Is there a reason Bale's voice changes so much when he is Batman? The only thing I can think of is for identity purposes, but that never stopped anyone else.

I'm guessing it has to do with the embodiment of his image. When he dons the cape and cowl, he becomes more primal and experiences something more like a transformation rather than just a rich yuppie in a costume. I like the Batman character but wouldn't say I'm a fan so that's just how I see it.

It's all part of the change in persona.
