Alias **Season Finale** "Before the Flood" 5/25/05

"Before the Flood"
Sydney, Jack, Irina (Lena Olin), Vaughn and Nadia are the last hope to save the world from the catastrophic effects of the Rambaldi end game -- put into action by Elena Derevko (Sonia Braga). Meanwhile, the Rambaldi prophecy surrounding Sydney and Nadia comes one step closer to becoming reality, Sloane's true allegiances are realized, and Vaughn asks Sydney a momentous question, on the season finale.

Somebody mentioned in the Lost thread that it might run way over - like up to 10 minutes. If so, I'd imagine Alias would as well? Might want to pad your Tivo's just in case.

Glad this starts at 10 so I can catch both AI and Alias in HD.

First the Covenant, now the Flood. JJ has been playing a little too much Halo...

Yeah, it's like Alias meets Resident Evil.

Ditto. Obviously a 28 Days Later ripoff.

What a surprise. Sloane is good again. Or is he? At this point, I just don't care.

Holy Shit!

They pull something out of their ass every year! I knew something awful was going to happen and then fade to black...

Ha. I wonder what kind of half-assed secret JJ came up with for Vaughn. Eh, I don't really care. As long as Vaughn's boring ass is dead.

I think that I soiled myself.

Dammit! I was going to give up on this, and with the last 15 seconds, it makes me want to come back next year (although it is in a deadly slot, against The OC, Joey, Survivor, etc)

That was quite the return of the classic Alias cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers! Kudos!

Wow! Great cliffhanger. I think season 5 is already better than season 4.

Much better than Lost. A great season finale is all about the last 30 seconds!

Yeah, the ending completely surprised me too. I was convinced Vaughn would be shot by a sniper, not hit in a car crash. The clawingly slow way that final scene developed had all the subtlety of an episode of 24.

while some didn't like the zombie thing, while it wasn't great, i thought it was entertaining. overall alot of good things in this show. the stuff with marshall and weiss was hilarious. marshall yelling "perv!" into the phone while they were talking to the russian guy was and the last part i think was even more of a HOLY SHIT!! moment than NCIS was last night. is it confirmed that
Spoiler:
michael vartan
isn't coming back next year? oh yeah, it's always good to see jack let loose a bit.
