A few years ago (I can't even remember exactly when...3-6 years maybe?) I saw a short film (15-40 mins) on A&E. It was about a mailman. I remember him sitting around staring at the wall, and when his wife/girlfriend would ask what he's doing, he would respond "I'm thinking about my route." He ended up being a little crazy and I think he ended up burying his mail in his backyard instead of delivering it. It was a short film and probably just meant to be humourous...for anyone that has known a mailman (my dad was one for 35+ years), this movie is hilarious.

Anyhow, I've never been able to locate this online or even remember the title. The best I've come up with is a short film I found on imdb called "The Route", but it gives no info at all about the film. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0444976/)

The only other thing I remember about the movie is that his girlfriend/wife might have been a stripper...or at least dressed like one.

Does anyone have any insight into this? Any idea on the title or where to find this? For the last couple of years I've wanted to get this for my dad for Father's Day, but without even a title no luck.

It's simply "Mailman", from 1996. Executive producer Sandra Bullock and starring Clark Gregg.
