I say Bo will be eliminated and it'll be between Carrie and Vonzell.

I'm thinking the boot SHOULD belong to Carrie Underwood, but America is going to care more about looks that actual talent...

On talent? Vonzell should be long gone.
On personality? Among the final 3, the same.

What does this mean? I hope Vonzell goes. I'm thinking Bo goes, and Carrie wins it all.

I'm hoping for either Bo or Carrie....moreso Carrie. Vonzell just has too much talent and the nicest personality to be eliminated. She may not win it all, but Vonzell really has a chance at getting into the top 2.

????? Carrie has a GREAT singing voice--MUCH better than Bo. With more training, she could be another Leann Rimes pop/country crossover type. She has a much better voice than most female country singers I've heard (like, say, Shania Twain?).

Bo's catch is that he's got a 'different' voice - not necessarily a great voice. Vonzell also has a good voice, but she's been a bit sketchy the past 2 weeks, IMO.

I'll wait until after the show to vote this time.

I couldn't stand Whitney Houston the first time around and I certainly don't like this reincarnation either.

What an odd thing to say about Bo.

I like Vonzell, but she should go after tonight. Will hold off on voting, though.

I think there are 3 songs tonight...
I believe the judges pick one song.. I also think Clive Davis is going to be there and gets to pick one and I think the performers get to pick one.

Vonzell has been bottom x either two or three times. She's good but doesn't have the support.

Bo has been in the bottom x once and definitly has support. It's interesting that, in a season SO strong with the men, he is the loan survivor.

Carrie has never been in the bottom x, even on nights when she was weak. I wouldn't expect it's going to happen now. She must have a tremendous amount of base support.

By the way, I do think she has a lot of raw talent, but she needs to stick to her genre, let someone else pick her songs and get a couple of lessons on stage movement (and I don't mean choreography...just looking comfortable and natural).

Everyone sings 3 songs tonight (judge's pick, Clive Davis' pick and their own choice).

Here are the judge's song picks and Clive Davis' song picks for tonight according to ET Online:

Spoiler:
The judges' selections: Carrie will be singing SHANIA TWAIN's "Man, I Feel Like a Woman," Bo will rock out on the ROLLING STONES's "Satisfaction" and Vonzell gets disco with DONNA SUMMER's "On the Radio."

Clive selected ROY ORBISON's "Cryin'" for Carrie; DIONNE WARWICK's "I'll Never Love This Way Again" for Vonzell and ELTON JOHN's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me" for Bo.

I thought that first songwriter doesn't allow her songs to be sung on AI.

For some reason I'm feeling like Carrie's gonna go home tonight. Not saying she should. But I think she's gone.

Vonzell needs a flawless, near-perfect performance to survive this week. If she performs like last week then she is gone. I think most of her supporters will then gravitate towards Carrie for the finals next week.

Spoiler:
Shania has a pretty monotone voice - surprises me they'd pick one of her songs for Carrie to sing...no test in vocal range at all. Cryin' could be interesting
...I can't picture her singing that song unless they do some major tweaking with the arrangement/range of the vocals.

Looks like Bo has 2 songs suited to his voice. Vonzell is getting the shaft with the
Spoiler:
Donna Summer song...yuck. The Dionne Warwick song
is a good test for her, though.

I think the song selections they have tonight are pretty good. As for Vonzell, I think the one SleepyW is referring to (too lazy to put spoilers, but I won't write anything to spoil the advance info), will actually fit Vonzell really well.

We'll see.

It's pretty clear that Vonsell should be the one leaving. The question is who will be the one leaving? That is not always clear with this show. There is such a falloff in talent between the top 2 and Vonsell that this should be easy but if either Bo or Carrie has a bad night, who knows?

Has anyone ever done
Spoiler:
a Rolling Stones song
on AI before? I know getting rights to certain songs is a problem, so this mildly surprises me. One thing I do know: Bo sounds nothing like
Spoiler:
Mick
, so hopefully his version won't sound more like the butcher job of
Spoiler:
Mrs. Kevin Federline.

Based on what we know so far, it looks like Clive and the judges are trying to give them a good mix of ballads and uptempo songs. I'm really hoping Vonz performs well tonight. So many people are already saying she's gone, so I'd love to see her prove them wrong. Bring it home mailgirl!!
