Movies like the Ninth Gate?
What other movies are out there that are like the Ninth gate can be mainstream, independent or foreign. Movies about the Devil or books that aren't action type movies but more based on suspense with a little horror. Any thoughts?

I loved the Ninth Gate. Yes, the ending was a little weak. But it was a great journey.
Two that I'd recommend are: Rosemary's Baby(same director as NG) & Fallen w/Denzel Washington.
