3DRealms - Prey is back in business! DNF news as well.

Anyone remember 3drealms working on a game called Prey? This was ages ago, but it was supposed to be the best game ever at the time. Well, looks like they've resurrected it using the Doom 3 engine. There's an article with images in the latest PCGamer.

They also talk about Duke Nukem Forever and how they were witness to a 20 minute presentation by George B himself... they claim that it is very close to done and that they'll be ready to reveal screens and such soon. They will NOT be showing it at E3 this year, so don't get your hopes up - however, that doesn't mean that we would have to wait longer than that before something surfaces. They scrapped everything in 2002 and started over (for the 3rd time) using their own rendering technology over the unreal engine. PCG seems to be pretty excited about it.

different developer, but I kinda agree that this has the potential to be alot of setup and not enough payoff. I wanna play the game they showed at E3 last time. I have a feeling that this one won't have any of those elements in it. Hell, I'd like to play all the versions of this game they've tried. This could've been Duke 6 or 7 by now.

Yeah, I posted about Prey last week, but I hadn't heard any news on DNF. I'm interested to see if either game ever hits store shelves.
