A musical ouroboros
If you're a few years out of school or haven't seen Adaptation for awhile, the ouroboros is a snake that eats its own tail.
I'm tryin to come up with playlists using this theme. You start with a band doing a cover, then you take the band that did the covered song and find them doing a cover. You keep going until you have a band doing a song by the first band.
Here is an example:
Cat Stevens, Another Saturday Night (Sam Cooke)
Sam Cooke, Blowin in the Wind (Bob Dylan)
Bob Dylan, Train of Love (Johnny Cash)
Johnny Cash & Fiona Apple, Father & Son, (Cat Stevens)
I'm trying to stick to 4-5 songs, fewer or more than that and it can be too easy.
Anyone else want to give it a try?
